- Nutech Analytical, Inc., (formerly known as Maztech MicroVision Limited) is located in Canada's Silicon Valley North - Ottawa, Ontario. Engineering expertise and services abound in the National Capital Region which is home to many telecommunications, photonics, aerospace and software companies. In 1989 a local high tech company, Dipix Technologies adapted satellite imaging technology to the analysis of food quality. After working for several years on an image analysis method for quantifying bran content, starch damage and particle size in cereal products, Maztech MicroVision Ltd was formed. The goal of the company was to develop analytical equipment for food and non-food industries using the most appropriate high technologies and to commercialize the applications for distribution on a global basis.
