Nuneaton Rambling Club - Walking in Warwickshire for over 35 years
Description
The club was formed in 1968 and has maintained a good level of membership since then. The objectives of the club have always remained the same, to ensure local paths are kept open and to provide a wide varied programme of walks for its membership.
We are totally independent and not a Ramblers' Association Group, but we do hold affiliated club membership of The Ramblers' Association.
There is a good mixture of walks, currently each Wednesday morning, Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Sundays are usually reserved for all-day walks. The club is very laid back, you can take part in as much or as little of its activities as you wish and not be thought of any the less. The walk grades vary from easy through moderate to, very occasionally, strenuous.
