NTM.org is a missionary place to help local people

New Tribes Mission offers a number of programs to those who wish to share the Gospel with people who have not had the opportunity to hear it presented clearly. With the goal of establishing churches among people groups where there is no church, New Tribes Mission offers career missions, mission trips, a skilled associates program, missionary aviation, support programs, and more.

New Tribes Mission?s mission trips vary from one day to six weeks, and focus on educating people about the spiritual need of tribal people and the ways they can help meet those needs. The shortest and most accessible programs are held in Pennsylvania, where Wayumi takes youth groups, college students and church groups through one-day to five-day programs. They interact with staff members playing the part of tribal people in a simulated village setting, and take classes on language, culture and what the Bible says about missions. They are exposed to many of the challenges missionaries experience while working in the field. For missionaries who are college age and above, New Tribes Mission offers a four- to six-week program called Interface. In this program, college age students and adults travel to Papua New Guinea to learn from missionaries who already work in the field. Interface trips cost around $4,000 or $5,000 and include all travel, housing, meals, and course materials. Interface trips are often offered in the months of May, June, and July. Within their mission trips category, New Tribes Mission also offers service trips. Available to anyone 15 years of age or older, these trips go to Latin America, Africa, and the Asia Pacific with the purpose of assisting in building physical church structures in remote areas. Those who are interested in applying can access the application online at New Tribes Mission?s website, www.ntm.org.
