Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association
Description
The Association consists of those people who, prior to the coming into force of the Real Estate Appraisers Act, were members in good standing of the Nova Scotia Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and were AACI, CRA, or Candidate members of AIC; those who become members of NSREAA pursuant to the By-laws; and those who become members pursuant to Subsection 15 of the Act.
Appraisers in Nova Scotia, including AACI, CRA, and Candidate members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, having become members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, also are members of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association.
Appraisers in Nova Scotia who are not members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada must become registered members of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association, by applying for membership and registration under Subsection 15(2) of the Real Estate Appraisers Act, as follows:
