Description
We are a small family run business focused on providing exceptional, authentic, and educational wilderness adventures. Our safaris are all intended to share the experience of really getting to know and appreciate the many wild animals of the north. We have both devoted our personal and professional lives to the understanding and conservation of wildlife.
When not guiding tours, we love to undergo long wilderness adventures, which over the years have brought us thousands of kilometers through roadless country. Our longest non-stop trip with horses was in the year 2000, where we traveled 2500 km over an entire summer, hunting and fishing along the way. This trip earned us a place in the Long Riders Guild; an elite guild of adventurers that have rode over 1000 miles in one continuous trip. In 2002 we canoed 2200 km to the Arctic Ocean in one month. We have also gone on several 1000 km dogsledding expeditions across the Arctic. All of these journeys were “unsupported” (without vehicles, roads, or food drops) and were in remote wilderness. Our passion is wilderness travel!!
After meeting each other deep in the jungles of wild Africa we made the decision to return to Canada and settle in the Yukon's wilderness. Now afer 9 years guiding wilderness adventures and a lifetime of working with horses, we are pleased to share with you the wilderness and wildlife of the Yukon that we know and love.
