Northern Promotion's Inc. is an Art Publisher and a Wholesale Manufacturer of pictures. We manufacture and assemble wall decorator pictures at our place of business in Aitkin, MN and ship our products throughout the US and Canada.
Scott Duffney started this business in 1991 after working for twelve years in construction, in the business that he owned. In 1990 Scott moved back to Aitkin, MN where he grew up and went to school, with his wife and three daughters. He tried working odd jobs and for other businesses, but after having and operating his own business for twelve years, the fulfillment was not there. At the age of 31, he rented an old abandoned 2,500 square foot building with no running water and an outhouse. He worked alone for the first nine months setting up the equipment, going to all the Art Shows to find the right artists that he wanted to publish. He also did custom framing for those in the area.
