Description
To discover, procure, interpret and preserve historical material pertaining to Northport and its environs, including East Northport, Fort Salonga, Asharoken, and Eatons Neck. To promote interest in history, past and present, to conduct educational programs and research; to upgrade and maintain the research library, preserve the unique character of the historic museum structure and to acquire and maintain artifacts for the collection.
