The first focus of the No Bugs Group, the Bug Eater, was introduced throughout Australasia in the mid 1990's to put a new dimension into the control of disease carrying flying insects by using a clean and green drowning system. Following the success in Australia, the Bug Eater was put to the test by solving the insect problems at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and the 2002 Australian Tennis Open at the Rod Laver Stadium in Melbourne when both World class events were threatened by plagues of insects that halted proceedings.
