About NMBBA
Established over a decade ago, the New Mexico Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (NMBBA), works to support and develop the bioscience industry in New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. As described in our Mission Statement, NMBBA strives to provide a forum for information exchange related to life science activities, develop initiatives to enhance small business success, provide education regarding the NM biosciences, help establish collaborations, and publicize the bioscience industry.
NMBBA is managed by an elected Board of Directors with responsibilities ranging from organizational planning, membership recruiting, meeting planning, marketing, and public relations.
Community is and will continue to be a focus of NMBBA. Networking activities include monthly Biomedical Tuesday luncheons. NMBBA events are an excellent opportunity for information exchange. Recent topics addressed medical technology patent protection, New Mexico bioscience technology company success stories, and trends in the medical device markets.
