- The Business and company name, "Creative Image Studio" was inspired and registered by its owner Ted Townsend in 1982. Ted Townsend's background in photography begins in the basement of his Mother's and Father's home in Sussex county NJ. At the age of 8 years old, his Father Ted Townsend Sr. an avid photography hobbyist, showed young Ted how to take pictures and develop and print them in black and white. As a young boy, he was fascinated with this thing called photography which eventually led him on to become President of the Photography Club in High School. During and after College, he studied the fine art of Photography. Working for other professionals in the 70's gave him the confidence he needed to photograph his first wedding in 1974. The wedding was a complete success and some of those images can still be seen at Ted's Studio upon request. This began a career covering a span of 30 years of professional photography to the public. Ted has done Wedding Photography in Mexico City Mexico, Pittsburg PA, Boston Massachusetts and have been asked to do weddings in Europe.
