- The site concept was originally intended as a way to make keeping up with the news faster, easier and more interesting for high school aged teens with short attention spans, and others with limited time. Unlike generations past that only had a couple of choices for news, today's young people get their information from an eclectic array of sources, like YouTube™, FaceBook™, MySpace™and others, not all of them complete, accurate or necessarily a good source.
