It seems that although RSS has seen an increased in popularity it has only been for those in the know, the blogging community and the large RSS aware institutions such as the BBC. So are a majority of the webmasters out there missing the boat. It seems more like they haven't even seen the boat.

So what are 99 percent of webmasters and the browsing public missing out on. When I first found out about RSS I thought it was fantastic, all that information you can keep up to date with and by using one convenient RSS reader. It wasn't long before my enthusiasm was curbed. After days of searching for RSS feeds I found that the only RSS feeds I could find were mainstream news stories and blogs. Why weren't my favourite sites publishing a feed.

Before long I found the reason, most webmasters and the browsing public either do not know what RSS is, or if they do they do not realise the benefits both the reader and the publisher could gain from reading and publishing RSS feeds. My solution was to create RSS NewsNiche.
