- Joy and I have enjoyed playing in the APA for many years in Charleston, SC. In 1998, we were fortunate enough to take a team to play in the National Team Championships in Las Vegas where we learned about what it takes to run a league. After landing a job as an Engineer in this beautiful area in 2001, we began the process of establishing the APA In Roanoke, Montgomery and Pulaski Counties.
