The New Hatchwear is one of the oldest clothing manufacturers in the city of Calgary and in Western Canada. Hatchwear was founded in the 1920's and was purchased by its current owners Victor and Giovanna Fornaro in December 1971. Today, the company has grown to become a diversified manufacturer of apparel and continues to be an industry leader.
As of February 2000, the company was purchased by Victor and Giovanna's daughter and son-in law, Sandra & Michael Dimitrijevic. This goes to prove our commitment to stability and reliability to all of our existing and future clientele.
The head office and manufacturing facilities of The New Hatchwear is located in the city of Calgary, Alberta and have a capacity of 28,000 to 30,000 square feet. At present, The New Hatchwear is operating from 20,000 square feet. Approximately 30 experienced employees of The New Hatchwear manufacture for ten divisions which include the following:
