The Nest Egg was started in 1982 by Sherry and Dave Rowe. Sherry is an accomplished découper,who qualified in Amerrica in many aspects of the modern craft of découpage and was responsible for the introduction of The National Guild of Découpers to South Africa. Prior to starting The Nest Egg, Sherry taught many hundreds of students in these various découpage aspects when she ran The Découpage Workshop in Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
