NEPAS has been the ultimate resource for all adopted people - birth parents, brothers, sisters and extended natural family members - wishing contact with one another for many years. Our tracing services, adoption registers, support services and counselling provides information, support and advice on all post adoption issues, search and reunions. We operate a register which may link people separated by adoption who wish to be put in touch with each other and Intermediary services to facilitate reunions .
“NEPAS aims to provide a quality independent post adoption service to all people whose lives have been touched by the experience of adoption. We will offer support; advice and guidance in order to try to enhance the lives of individuals and their families.
Created in 1998 by two childcare workers with a personal interest in the field of post adoption support and working in their spare time they researched and consulted providers of post adoption support in other regions which lead them to set up a telephone help line.
