Jesse Skramstad, founder and president of NDT Solutions, Inc. (NDTS), for the past 28 years has worked closely with the United States Air Force, The Boeing Company, The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Northwest Airlines in the research and development of innovative solutions for the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Field. The results of his efforts include the MAUS V Low Frequency Eddy Current Corrosion Detection and Material Loss inspection process that generated $4.9 million dollars in savings for Northwest Airlines.
Sandia National Laboratories, Aging Aircraft NDI Validation Center (AANC) has utilized his expertise to develop inspection procedures for the DC9 Center Wing Tee Cap, as well as the DC-10/MD11 crown splice inspection process.
