Niagara Chapter is part of this Mother organization. ONWA represents Aboriginal Women and their families in matters that affect them daily, such as: educational, political, justice, economic and social issues.
Regular gatherings with the other 84 Local chapters throughout Ontario provides opportunities to pass on teachings, share ideas and skills, plan, develop and manage self projects, political strategy, and economic development.
They are committed to being involved in the process of empowering Native Women to improve their quality of life and to providing opportunities for Native Women to gather, share, learn and support one another. The Chapter is involved in some Benevolent activities.
