With its home office in Raleigh, the company has become the largest domestic property and casualty insurer in the state. As a mutual insurance company, we are owned and controlled by our policyholders through an elected board of directors.

Our company is an affiliate of the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation, a non-profit membership organization representing the agricultural interests of our state. The North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation also provides educational, economic, public affairs, marketing, and various other services to its members. As one of these services, our company was formed to provide rural and farming citizens appropriate and affordable insurance coverage. We have remained faithful to that premise throughout our years of growth and service.
