Welcome Game Enthusiasts, National Games Week 2005 had incredible, worldwide participation- 4,437 events in homes, schools, faith communities, stores and many other locations. Our first event in Malaysia, a web site in Mandarin Chinese, and so much more. 118,912 people actually participated in a NGW event, with over 50 million getting the message that games are positive, social entertainment. In addition, NGW's official kickoff convention, Gen Con So Cal, in Anaheim California, had about 6,300 attendees, including 500 students and 30 educators on school field trips. What an excellent program! Gencon SoCal is again in 2006 our official kickoff convention, though of course NGW events happen wherever our members host them.
