- I believe I have been attracted to shiny things ever since childhood. I was always taking things and turning them into some kind of jewelry creation. Family had to beware if they left some costume jewelry lying around because they would get it back redesigned or altered. I loved doing it! It was a passion that as an adult I never pursued.
