Canadian Canoe Routes - A Meeting Place for Canadian Wilderness Paddlers
Description
In 1995, I developed and posted a small personal web site called 'Ontario Canoe Routes.' When I began to develop that site, I assumed it might draw the attention of a few paddlers who could share information about their favourite canoe routes.
Over the years, the number of paddlers visiting the site grew. I tried to give these paddlers a place where they could post questions or comments, and they continued to send in information to add to the site. We made format changes and added other content, and the site continued to grow.
This current site is simply the latest stage in the growth of the site. At the request of many visitors, we have expanded the scope to include routes in other areas of Canada
