- I had the idea for My Picturebook in late 2003 after reading a bedtime book to my 1-year-old son. I think it was a book about tractors and trucks. My son was really into cars and trucks at an early age. He still is (and so am I). I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be cool if I could create a picturebook with my car in it? He would really like that."
