Historical Buildings of the City

Noor Mahal

It is the most beautiful building of the City because of its Italian style construction. It was established by His Highness Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V and was meant to be his residence.

Darbar Mahal

Darbar Palace is another outstanding building in Bahawalpur and it is famous for its beautiful doors. It was established in 1904 by His Highness Nawab Bahawal Khan V.

Sadiq Garh Palace

Sadiq Garh is the only palace which is best of them all located in the Bahawalpur city. It is a majestic building having beautiful huge mirrors and glowing lights which look elegant in the evening.

Bahawalpur Library

Central Library of Bahawalpur is one of the oldest buildings of Bahawalpur. This library containing a huge amount of books and newspapers from the independence of Pakistan was donated to the local people of Bahawalpur by the former Amir of Bahawalpur His Highness Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V (Late).
