Description
Motor Vehicle Services (MVS) was initially created in the mid-1980s and was responsible for developing and deploying the original line of VISTA products – VISTA/RS for IRP processing and VISTA/TS for IFTA processing. Today, MVS provides a complete suite of full-service software solutions to jurisdictions for the efficient management of their commercial vehicle operations, including the following types of credentials, registrations and requirements:
MVS has always maintained a significant number of subject matter experts as part of its management, program and technical staff. Many of our staff are former state employees who have direct experience in IRP, IFTA, title and registration, or other DMV functions directly related to commercial vehicle operations.
In addition, MVS has gained extensive experience and knowledge in IRP, IFTA, fuel processing, and permitting systems throughout the years. This knowledge is applied to the ongoing development of our products. MVS staff also use this institutionalized knowledge and experience as we develop customized features or enhancements to a client’s system. In many instances, we have already developed similar or alternative cost-effective solutions for one client that can be utilized by another client – saving both time and money.
