Owner Brian Soller started his disc jockey career in 1989 performing in the nightclubs of Monticello, NY. After several years behind the turntables in one of these clubs, the club was purchased by the owner of Party Productions, a local disc jockey entertainment service. The owner/disc jockey convinced Brian to take his knowledge of music one step further and to come to work for his company. While working for Party Productions, Brian gained experience in various types of events from wedding receptions to corporate parties. Brian also learned the fundamentals of audience participation at all events. In 1997, the owner of Party Productions decided to move his company out of New York, and Brian decided to go into business for himself.
In March of 1998, Music in Motion Professional DJ’s was formed. Since the beginning, Music in Motion’s slogan is We Get Your Party Moving. This is accomplished through audience participation and interaction.
Music in Motion is a full service entertainment company serving the Hudson Valley area! We supply top of the line professional compact disc sound equipment and state of the art lighting. Our music library ranges from the big band era to the sounds of today. We specialize in wedding receptions; however, we have also performed for some of the most successful bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16’s, school dances, proms, holiday parties and corporate events. We will customize your event to your specifications and approval. We meet with you prior to the event to make sure every aspect is covered and done the way YOU want it.
