The Music Aid Foundation is the United Nations UNV music partner. It believes in using the power of music to raise awareness and funds to help brighten the life of everyone - including the world's poorest children and others in need. The Foundation is run and maintained by unpaid volunteer supporters who believe in the Music Aid ideal and we encourage volunteering in all its forms.
Music Aid provides free support, promotion, publicity and co branding for many music related projects and events including educational projects, charities, benefit CDs and concerts. It makes its expertise and contacts available free of charge to genuine, bone fide fund raisers and organizations and offers co branding of events, cds and projects with the Music Aid logo and image. No money is received by Music Aid for this work - all funds raised go directly from the project organisors to the benefactors. The Music Aid website is maintained by a team of United Nations Online Volunteers from all over the world who donate their time and talent because they believe in the Music Aid vision.
