Mtu.net
Description
Since long before acquiring its new domain name in late 1997, mtu.net has been providing reliable computing services for students at Michigan Technological University. Through the generosity of project coordinator Aaron Thul and the dedication of the entire mtu.net technical team, it has become possible to provide services to the entire university community in addition to the custom computing environment utilized by its members. Members of mtu.net currently include present and past Michigan Tech undergraduates and their associates, all of whom enjoy access to an environment with unrestricted use of email services, mailing lists, web space with full programming flexibility, free access to experiment with network and software development, and optional access to mtu.net's own high-speed backbone.
