Description
The Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves over 46,000 youth in the Middle Tennessee Region. The mission of the Middle Tennessee Council is to foster the character development, citizenship training and physical fitness of young people through an emphasis on outdoor program experiences, and in ways to prepare them to be responsible, contributing members of society over their lifetime by instilling values based upon those found in the Scout Oath and Law.
A bronze statue, celebrating the volunteer leaders of the Middle Tennessee Council marks the front of the Service Center, an easy landmark to find for those who are visiting for the first time.
I-24 West to 65 South to 40 West to 440 East. Take the Hillsboro Pike Exit. There will be two sets of traffic lights immediately after getting onto Hillsboro Pike. Go through those. When you reach the third traffic light, the Service Center will be on the left, at the corner of Hillsboro Pike and Woodmont.
