MrFiber.com was founded in 2005 by David R. Goff. From 1985 through 2004, Mr. Goff, MSEE, specialized in fiber optics technology at Force, Inc., where he served as VP of Engineering and President & CTO. Throughout his career, David R. Goff has excelled at working closely with customers to solve their most complex signal transport problems within such critical applications as missile guidance systems and supercomputer processor synchronization. Prior to 1985, Mr. Goff held technical positions with the U.S. ITT-EOPD Corporation, U.S. Department of Energy, and Bell Laboratories. Mr. Goff graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University in 1972 with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, and graduated cum laude in 1973 from The California Institute of Technology with a MS in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Goff is the author of the two most authoritative books on fiber optics: The Fiber Optic Reference Guide (3rd edition - 2002, Focal Press) and Fiber Optic Video Transmission (2003, Focal Press).
