Mourne Activity Breaks was established in 1999 as a community based tour operator, set up to develop and promote a range of quality activity packages in the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The project originally funded through Mourne Area Based Strategy, NITB and District Councils until September 2002 was then further funded through the Rural Development Council and Newry & Mourne, Down, and Banbridge District Councils from September 2002- September 2004.
Mourne Activity Breaks have just come to the end of their current funding programme from the Rural Development Council in association with Newry & Mourne, Down and Banbridge District Councils.
