Description
John and Serine Calvin began their musical partnership in 1997 in Seattle. Today, this husband and wife duo performs an eclectic mix of standards, bittersweet ballads, and uplifting folk songs, blending beautiful voices with acoustic guitar artistry. Serine has been singing since before she can remember, and John has played guitar and sung for more decades than he likes to admit.
Moonset joyfully plays and sings for ceremonies and events in the Pacific Northwest. The rich, sensuous harmonies and the obvious heart-centered connection between John and Serine make Moonset a natural choice for weddings.
Moonset's debut CD, Whenever We Sing, was released in 2001. This disk contains an even dozen tracks with song flavors ranging from jazz-blues to folk, with a nod to country.
