Description
H. Ronald Sawl is a member of The California State Bar. He received his degree in law in 1984 from San Joaquin College of Law and completed his law enforcement training at the State Center Police Academy in 1989. He is a recognized expert in Use-of-Force by the Superior Court and is licensed to train in these areas by the Department of Justice, Bureau of Security and Investigative and Services, and the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
Since 1995 he has served as director of the Police Science Institute, which specializes in the training of private sector law enforcement. Mr. Sawl developed California’s only accredited program in security transportation in 1996.
Mr. Sawl is an active reservist with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department where he has served in a variety of areas including Commander of the Air Squadron. The Air Squadron is often called upon to conduct prisoner transportation for the Department. In 2001, Ronald Sawl received the Lifesaving Medal with Valor. He is a principal in Fresno County Private Security.
