- After years of hearing me bitch about the quality of computer magazines my wife finally said “Well, if you think you can do better, then...” I thought to myself: Why not? My first computer was a Trash-80, on top of which I did have a formal electronics education, and spent a lot of time playing games, so I sent out a resume and a writing sample. Turns out that no one was interested in letting me write for their magazine or hardware site. Most claimed that my writing style was crass and unpolished (Some claim it still is) so five years ago I decided to start my own site, Monster-Hardware and so here we are today.
