Description
In early August 1999 I travelled to SE Asia, planning to spend two months visiting Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and southern China. At the end of August, as my Thai visa was expiring, I travelled to Malaysia, thinking of staying two weeks before heading back north.
These two weeks became ten months - guess why (the reason is living with me in Munich). During these ten months I travelled extensively across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Laos and Nepal.
Later I have been back several times in the region, visiting Cambodia and Myanmar and again Malaysia and Thailand. I also did trips to Egypt in 2001 and 2003, Portugal in 2002, China and India in 2004, Italy in May 2005, Taiwan, South Korea and China in October 2005.
