- Ashley, along with her sister, Mary-Kate, were born on June 13th, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, California to David and Jarnette Olsen. Ashley came first, two minutes ahead of Mary-Kate. In 1987, when the girls were nine months old, they auditioned for the role of youngest daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Tanner, on Full House, on the advice of one of their mother’s friends. After landing the part, the show became a huge hit.
