Introductions
The idea for Mark Johnson Coins & Supplies came in 1999. After searching the web for a coin album, I quickly realized there were only a few websites for coin collecting supplies and many of those made it difficult to order; print a form then mail it, no shopping carts, no credit cards, etc. I was looking for an excuse to learn HTML, so I purchased the domain and spent many evenings over the years coding, adding products, getting the HTML and CSS right. The result is what you see at Mark Johnson Coins & Supplies.
Products
As a coin collector, I know what works and what doesn't. There have been products on the market that I wouldn't put my own coins in. You won't see those at MJCoins.com. Dansco, Whitman - famous for their classic blue Whitman coin folders, Krause, Harris, E&T Kointainer, Littleton, etc. are all reputable, leading manufacturers and publishers in the industry and I feel confident featuring their products on my site.
