I am an attorney living in Atlanta with my four very short, very bad dachshunds. I write about their shortness and their badness with some regularity. My parents, who a few miles away, ALSO have four very short, very bad dachshunds. If you have not already done this math problem in your head, I will save you the trouble by noting that this brings the short/bad total to eight when we are all together. We tell people that we are raising them for the meat, but that's not really true. It's the fur we're after. Soon we'll have enough for a muff! Or a very small hat.
I have a very cute boyfriend named El Dukay. Dukay is funny and strong and extremely tall. He is also younger than I am, which means that he is always telling people that he is my boy toy. On New Year's Eve 2006, Dukay and I will have been dating for four years. Sometimes I want to stab him in the eyes, but I love the spit out of him anyway. Also, I have to keep him around, because he is the only one who knows how to make the chocolate martinis turn out correctly. That is enough for me.
I write about Dukay on this site a lot. I also write about Ziz, my hot little sister who is 23 and got all the boobs in the family. Ziz is currently living in L.A., which is a tragedy. I am forever scheming to get her home and force her to move into my house with me, where we will make fun of makeover shows and drink a lot. Unfortunately for me, Ziz is having a great time in L.A. and is spending all of her time doing jet-setting things and hanging out with the stars. Sometimes she is even on television. Not too long ago, she had a recurring role as a hot dog vendor. She had to wear a shirt that read, "I Love Weiners!" She said that they gave her real tongs and buns, but no real hot dogs. She had to fake the hot dogs. And as a family, we were proud.
