In January, 1990 after 21 years of trial practice as a senior partner in a large firm, Joe Milton formed Joseph P. Milton, P.A.. In January, 1993, Eric Leach became a partner, and the firm name changed to Milton & Leach, P.A. In January, 1996, James L. D' Andrea became a partner and the firm name changed to Milton, Leach & D'Andrea, P.A. In January 2002, the firm merged with the Law Offices of Joshua P. Whitman and the name was changed to Milton, Leach, Whitman, D'Andrea, & Milton, P.A.
