Purpose, Scope and Organization
Purpose: The main objective of this study is to offer suggestions for romantic travel destinations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, while listing some couples-orientated activities and describing a variety of lodging choices in different price ranges in each area. Although the information can be used by day-trippers, it is intended to include an overnight stay and therefore emphasis has been placed on the descriptions of accommodations.
How this website is organized: The coverage area has been divided into approximately one hundred cities and geographic destination areas. Accommodations are listed on the site alphabetically under each destination. In order for a place of lodging to be listed, certain information must be provided and an inspection made by Mid-Atlantic Romantic Getaways, Inc. (See "Inclusion Information") Listings on the web site are for those establishments that make a concerted effort to cater to couples looking for a romantic getaway and therefore Mid-Atlantic Romantic Getaways, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without any obligation, to refuse any place of lodging deemed unsuitable. (See "Acceptance Policy") Mid-Atlantic Romantic Getaways, Inc. also reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without any obligation, to modify or correct any error or omission in any portion of the web site, or shorten and re-word lodging descriptions in order to fit the format of The Web Site.
How this site is different from most other lodging and bed & breakfast sites: Innkeepers do not pay any fees to be included on this site. Accommodations are researched and selected for inclusion by Mid-Atlantic Romantic Getaways, Inc., the author. All descriptions of lodging are written by the author, not the innkeeper.
