While I attended college I worked full-time at various places, one of which was a bead store. During my employment there I learned the very basics of stringing beads into one-of-a-kind creations. All I needed to do was look at the beads in all their shapes, sizes and colors to know exactly what I wanted to design. The possibilities are endless!
When I moved on in my career, with a Bachelor's Degree in hand, I still continued my jewelry-making as a hobby. For my wedding I made my crown and jewelry, as well as all of the jewelry for my bridal party. For my brother's wedding I made jewelry for his wife and her bridal party.
Eventually, friends and coworkers became interested in my creations and I began selling my pieces to them. I enjoy seeing customers happy and excited about their purchases. It is really a great compliment.
