Michael Lee & The Allstars. To See is To Believe, entertainment with a difference. I have been in the entertainment field on and off for 32 years. Michael performs a cabaret style show that is made up of drag and straight material. Michael finds that this type of show works well as both the ladies and men are being entertained.
Michael Lee first stepped into the spotlight at the age of 15, when he entered a talent quest at Les Girls in Sydney. After 3 years of performing in different venues, Michael went out on his own and it was then that Michael Lee and the Allstars was born. Michael goes on to explain that back in the 70's and 80's to go into a straight hotel or club and announce "hey I want to perform a drag show here", came with mixed response, I got a lot of knock backs, but my determination saw me through and the Queens Hotel in Enmore Sydney gave me my break. I have since performed at many venues and private functions in NSW and Queensland.
Since that first accomplishment Michael Lee has gone on to impersonate, Cher, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassy, Madonna, Celine Dion and many more artists, as well as his male impersonations, which include Neil Diamond, Elvis, Roy Orbison, John Farnham and Tom Jones, just to name a few. Michael's shows are always received very well, as far as having received standing ovations. Michael is a professional performer and always gives 110% to ensure that his audience has a night they won't forget and believe me they do not forget.
