Description
As a member of MSP, you will be able to earn CME credits by attending two outstanding seminars per year at a reduced price. Attendees come from all over Michigan and nearby states to hear national and local speakers who are unparalleled teachers on topics of great practical value. You'll network with and learn from fellow pathologists and be able to keep abreast of recent legal, economic, and political developments in the field.
Twice a year, MSP members receive a professional newsletter, Under the Microscope, designed to keep members informed about Society activities, events, trends, and innovations. It provides an excellent review of local, state, and national legislative activities, current medical developments related to pathology, plus news of fellow pathologists.
MSP gives pathologists a voice of advocacy in government, allowing them to address issues with legislative policy makers. Members are provided a forum to speak to all areas having an impact on pathology in Michigan. MSP is also the point of interaction with other societies such as the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and the Michigan State Medical Society.
