Description
As a life-long native of Michigan, Mary has always been exposed to the farms and natural beauty of the state and its waterways. As an avid student of charcoals and ink drawings, she attended Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan to further her studying and complete her degree in art. There she studied in more detail line perspective and oil painting. She has since sold her prints to many shops, museums, and art lovers.
Today, Mary, along with her husband Tom, lives in Leelanau County with her store located in beautiful Leland overlooking the harbor. This gives her an opportunity to show a variety of subjects in her work from Fishtown, beach scenes, and wildlife to the whimsical of surreal.
