Description
Manhattan Edit Workshop was designed with one fundamental idea – to provide the best training for visual storytellers in a small workshop setting. Our maximum teacher to student ratio is 1:5, and our instructors are working editors with feature, documentary, short-form, and commercial credits. All of our instructors are also Apple and Avid certified.
The six-week workshop was created with valuable input from the Motion Picture Editor’s Guild and select post-production companies around New York. It is designed so that students meet the following goals:
A successful six-week course is a foundation for working editors and assistants. We have seen our students move directly from our workshops to rewarding editorial roles in broadcast post-production, independent film, and short-form work.
