I found my first fossil shark tooth in 1955 on dry land in an area of the Deep South that was 420 miles from the nearest saltwater. This Sand-tiger tooth was to me then (and continues to be) a thing of wonder. As you can imagine, I had many questions, some unanswered to this day. In 1966, I learned to SCUBA dive courtesy of the US Navy, and spent many hours in the South Pacific swimming with the sharks found around several Pacific islands. The Tigers, Gray Nurse, Blues, Hammerheads, Makos and an occasional Great White that lazily checked me out were to me some of the most amazing and awe inspiring creatures that inhabited this planet. One beautiful spring day, 10 years later, my wife, her sister and a good friend got me interested in picking up fossil shark teeth on a local beach. We have been collecting, trading, selling and learning about them ever since. We have thousands in our inventory and collection.
We have been selling our extra fossils on the Internet and auctions since 1997. During this time we have consistantly maintained a 100% positive feedback rating. No neutral comments; no negative comments; no dissatisfied customers. We have consistently maintained a credit rating of AAA. We have had no complaints lodged against us with the Better Business Bureau or the Consumer Fraud Department of the State Attorney General's Office. We are registered with the state's Sales and Use Tax Department and the IRS. In the years that we have been in business, we have never made a penny of profit from the sale of fossils, preferring instead to use the money to buy more fossils and in support of several organizations that promote conservation of sharks. We do not sell teeth or jaws from modern sharks because we believe that every tooth that is bought or sold is "another brick in the wall" leading to their eventual extinction.
We have several interests including Corvettes, Bromeliads, and Civil War swords and currency, nevertheless, much of our spare time is taken up with looking for fossils and learning as much as we can about the magnificent predator known simply as "Meg".
