About MCTec
MCTec is a world leader in coating technology for medical applications. The company was formed in 1999 and has its headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands. MCTec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Merit Medical Systems, a manufacturer of medical devices for diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology procedures.
MCTec has pioneered and grown the technology of reel-to-reel wire and polymer tube coating. We have perfected reliable, cost-efficient coating processes for the medical industry. It is these processes that ensure the very highest levels of quality coated wire and tubing.
We work closely with the medical establishment to ensure that our products meet and exceed established needs. Furthermore, our extensive R&D department has direct links with a number of key research institutes. This helps us to identify future needs, and to develop timely solutions.
