Russell "Max" Maxfield is Chairman of the Board. After spending 20 years in the U.S. Army, Max and Maryann decided to move to Cincinnati and open up a ceramic shop. Max learned how to pour molds while stationed in Lincoln, NE. And is nationally certified.
Maryann is the President of Maxfield Ceramics. Maryann learned the art of ceramics while living in Lincoln, NE. She worked for a shop there and taught classes before moving to Cincinnati in 1969.
Kirk Maxfield is Vice President of Maxfield Ceramics. Kirk is in charge of kiln repairs, manufacturing slip and helps make some of the deliveries. He has been working at Maxfield's since 1978.
