The weather cooperated, the food was fabulous, the flowers were beautiful, the wine was plentiful, our family and friends were merry (a few even danced), and most important, we said our vows. Starting the next day, it rained nonstop for four days. Those four days were spent by the bride and groom, the husband and wife, on Mount Desert Island. We slept in, we relaxed, we ate great food, we climbed a small mountain (284 feet, it qualifies!), we drank wine and ate the rest of our wedding cake.
