JP has been active fulltime in Real Estate for over 13 years. He has been a Broker, Sales Associate and Land Use Consultant. His experience in marketing Real Estate has been in Los Gatos CA., (Silicon Valley), Santa Cruz CA., Seattle WA. and Maui, Hawaii. Over the years he has been involved in Residential sales, Condominiums and Townhomes, Land, REO sales, bankruptcies, developments and Commercial properties. Also, during this time, JP has experienced all types of Real Estate market phenomena, including recessions, 20% compound monthly growth, multiple offers, earthquakes, lack of inventory, oversupply of inventory... everything from Boom to Bust markets.
JP's background is in marketing, graduating from Michigan State University with a BS in Marketing, with Graduate work at Columbia University and St. Louis University. His sales and marketing career in Corporate America, included regional sales, national sales, international sales, acquisitions, new products, Strategic and Business planning and culminating as Marketing Manager for Boise Cascade in Boise, Idaho.
Following his career with Corporate 500 companies, JP's entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchasing a couple of small/medium companies in Idaho and California. After growing and selling these companies, he ended up in a joint venture development/remodel of a unique 10,000 square foot home in Saratoga, CA. This Real Estate project utilized his skills in negotiation, planning, marketing and development and the Road to Real Estate was launched.
